Though she’s spent years
Sidestepping the pain
She knows that her real power comes
From mining the depths
Excavating her inner workings
And reminding herself
That her caves are as beautiful
As her mountains
Awaken. Heal. Inspire.
Though she’s spent years
Sidestepping the pain
She knows that her real power comes
From mining the depths
Excavating her inner workings
And reminding herself
That her caves are as beautiful
As her mountains
Come with me, she says
Why do you resist?
The inner world is calm and wise
Yet also raw and unpredictable,
Whispers back my healing heart
Take my hand
Take a step
Mountains don’t move alone
She wanted to give up
And she wanted to keep going
And she was so, so tired
But the blue mountains in her mind
Kept calling, their peaks a salve
For her aching heart
The summit of her being
Touching the clouds of her mind
And turning them to stardust
The Angels remind us that when earthquakes rumble, mountains spring up in our path, and storms seem to follow us around, the way is often being cleared for something new. We stand in the face of change, and we are ready.
The Angels remind us that the mountains looming in the distance only need be treacherous if we chose to see them that way. There will always be peaks and valleys; how we choose to transverse them is up to us.
