They tried to take her joy
But with one palm against her chest
And one to the front
She was a force
Her bare palm a barrier
A message loud and clear
This day, this heart
Is mine
And mine alone
Awaken. Heal. Inspire.
They tried to take her joy
But with one palm against her chest
And one to the front
She was a force
Her bare palm a barrier
A message loud and clear
This day, this heart
Is mine
And mine alone
Always looking for the waves
To tell us something
In their secret language so rich and deep
It can only be deciphered by sun on skin
When their only real job
Is to wash away the clutter
At the shores of our mind
And what comes today?
What comes into the heart
And opens up the way?
What voices speak the loudest,
Which bring the message clear,
And which ones are ignored
In a steady state of fear,
Sureness of their untruths
The indecision of the mind
To follow with the heart
Where minds dare not align
To the domain of the soul,
Where potential turns absolute
And the field of possibility
Is all that we impute
For our awareness in this place
Where one may know the sooths
With which human minds struggle
Their secrets carried off in truth
Or come today, buried deep,
Carried for eternity,
Held in the soul song’s keep

Poem 3 in the series…
Just when I thought the time
of grand pronouncements was over,
that I would no longer find myself
in strange churches or quiet moments
receiving holy messages,
God speaks when you least expect it,
a burning bush for everyday life.
Like Hildegard,
I am called to be a Spiritual Warrior,
to use my creativity to wake up the world.
The white hot fire of Spirit is inside me,
time to summon my moral outrage,
to reclaim the Divine Feminine
and march forth to stake my claim in this world,
make a difference, elicit perhaps only the slightest change,
in a person, a community, a country, or a universe
