Shines deeply in our hearts,
Stirring up the dying embers
Of a life, a love
Gone past

Sending us down a path
Of remembrance and regret,
Reminding us all is not lost,
Opportunities always remain
To rekindle, reignite

Carried in our hearts,
On our lips,
The stranger becomes a friend,
The enemy becomes the ally,
