The Angels remind us that to feel better on the outside we must also strive to feel better on the inside. Thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations go hand in hand.
The Angels remind us that we naturally have access to a wide range of emotions. This is a gift, to be able to feel and express multiple, and even conflicting, emotions at any given time. But we can’t pick and choose only the “good” ones. It’s a package deal, and we must be willing to explore them as they arise.
The Angels remind us to lean into the little nudges that give us insight into our deeper feelings and the deeper context in situations around us. Our natural receptors are keen, if we observe and trust the information they provide.

The Angels remind us we can have our wild life, as well as our domesticated life. We can be bold and scared, happy and sad. We can be all things at once, or just one thing at a time. It’s ok to sit back, stop trying to fabricate a perfect existence, and just be who our soul is in this moment. In fact, it’s encouraged.
Sometimes you have to let that wave
Wash upon you
Sometimes you have to let it
Swallow you whole
You can try to stay numb
But eventually those feelings will catch up with you
And when they find you years later
The breakdown is exponential
All those years of feelings piling up
Stored away in the dark
Where you thought you’d never have to deal
When they erupt, look out!
It’s dangerous for anyone to be near
Worse, it’s debilitating for you,
Body, mind, and spirit
So let that wave lap at your feet
Let the waters rise up
Cleanse you in the spirit of release
Let that wave pound at you until
There are no more tears to cry
