Holding herself tightly
She jumps into the unknown
Ready to face whatever
May threaten to swallow her up
Drown her
Or worse yet, ignore her altogether
She does brave things
And her life is all the better for it
Awaken. Heal. Inspire.
Holding herself tightly
She jumps into the unknown
Ready to face whatever
May threaten to swallow her up
Drown her
Or worse yet, ignore her altogether
She does brave things
And her life is all the better for it
Be bold
She feels inside
And she turns away
(But only slightly)
Be bold
(Even stronger)
And then the knowing
That bold no more means
Being too much
But rather just exactly
Enough
What life wouldn’t give
To be lived
And embraced
In all its messiness and horror
And deep, deep longing
What it wouldn’t give to feel her love
She stands at the edge
Not knowing how to reach the bottom
Or if the bottom even exists
And yet she dares
She cares enough
For herself to venture in
And show her weary soul
That fear can be her friend
The Angels remind us to keep following that inner voice, the one that pushes us to do the things that seem out of reach or out of character, for there is where we find our strength, our courage, our true gifts that can inspire the world.
The Angels remind us that we rarely find courage and confidence from mere platitudes, but rather from tapping into the power that is already within us, wanting to be released into the light.
