Despite the clouds
In her eyes
She sees clearly now
Her path set before her
She doesn’t know
Where it might lead
But her not knowing
Is the grandest adventure
Awaken. Heal. Inspire.
Despite the clouds
In her eyes
She sees clearly now
Her path set before her
She doesn’t know
Where it might lead
But her not knowing
Is the grandest adventure
What if her whole life changed
Turned upside down, in an instant
And what if in this seeming chaos
She could see with new eyes
And draw peace from a place of clarity
That she’d not previously known existed inside her
Inside, where the bereft of life
Learn to live again
Will this rain ever stop
Inside my brain,
My heart,
I’m drenched
Drowning in despair
Lack of meaningful thoughts
No air
Until I hear the drops again
And my being shatters against the wall
“No more,” the words pour out
And just like that,
With one ask (no, one demand)
Clear thoughts arise
Crisp like mountain air,
Clearing out
Making space
Old is new again
And I,
I see you with a clarity
Never felt before
Your golden face and starry eyes
Your arms reaching for the sky
And in this moment,
This clear moment,
We join hands and rise

In her confusion and pain
Is where she found her strength
The ability to see through the muddled mind
All cluttered with debris
Intended to deflect and deviate
And instead claim for herself
The convergence of truth and clarity
The rock upon which her newfound confidence resides
The Angels remind us that sometimes it’s hard to see anything more than the same, and in those moments, instead of giving up, we must look within for the clearer view.
The Angels remind us that the unseen is not meant to be feared but rather sought after, for in that space is where we find purpose, clarity, and peace. Go deeper, be willing to seek what lies beyond the eyes.
