When she really thought about it
She realized peace was inside her all along
She’d missed it in the seeking
The busyness and the longing
Clouding her ability to see what was already there
With that awareness, she was truly free
Awaken. Heal. Inspire.
When she really thought about it
She realized peace was inside her all along
She’d missed it in the seeking
The busyness and the longing
Clouding her ability to see what was already there
With that awareness, she was truly free
Are my words more honed,
My creative mind less toned,
Stretched out and unfit
From the activities of daily life?
The busyness,
The stolen downtime,
An hour of boob tube
Without doing any “work”
Everything is a choice,
A task that must be done,
And in the middle, somewhere, joy
Joy for the work,
For the stolen moments,
The openings to clear my swollen mind
And see the joy in the gaps
The fleeting chance to mix business
With pleasure,
The ability to love work
And sometimes feel pleasure is a chore,
To find inherent joy in the busy moments
For those moments make up life too

The Angels remind us that busyness is not the ride that thrives, it is the way that drives away our clarity and replaces it with, what? Stuff without a real name. But stillness, it gives us softness, a way to hold it all without breaking, a way to bend into life.
The Angels remind us to use our time for that which is meaningful to us as well as the world. In that way, our hard work is rewarding and we are more able to live our true purpose.
The Angels remind us that to be still in the midst of busyness, to find peace in the midst of chaos, to be free in the midst of confinement, that is to know the true self.
