Gentle spirit,
Though you beckon,
I do not heed the call,
Through my darkness,
My shame,
My false belief in self-reliance,
Your voice goes unanswered,
As I wander in my longing
And you, in your loneliness,
Unable to fulfill our destinies,
Until that moment
When the heart-spark is tripped
And your sweet voice enters
Through the tiniest of cracks,
Trickling through my heart space,
Seeping into head space,
Making itself known,
The voice of Spirit,
The song of the heart,
The knowing of my soul,
Come home to say,
Inside to stay
