Courage is not so much about having the intestinal fortitude to take action. Rather, it’s more directly related to desiring change so much that having the courage to act is the only option.
With your hands, build the future
one tiny piece of wire or brick
or drop of paint at a time
With your heart, love the world well
each hug, each kind gesture,
one step closer to redemption
With your spirit, become the essence
of the world you want to see,
embody the Creator
in your every thought,
in your soul’s flow,
so that Earth in its tragedy
may embody Heaven
on its hill of salvation
a shining light of hope
Do you struggle to understand your purpose? Don’t worry if you haven’t found it yet. If you open yourself with faith to all the energy and potential of the universe, you won’t have to seek your purpose. It will find you.
Like the signs of approaching spring, signs are all around you, guiding you in the right direction. Like tiny miracles, your signs are always present, if you’re willing to acknowledge them.
First pause after the rotation of the calendar
generates an achiness,
a wisdom yearning to break free
feels like blue-green waves,
rumbles like thunder on a summer night,
flashes like heat lightning,
flaring up, divinely beautiful,
yet causing no real harm
provides only a map against the night sky
a brief illumination –
catch a glimpse and then it’s gone –
holds the future in momentary display
and then darkness,
an achy rumbling,
It is said that when you feel depressed, you’re focused on the past, and when you feel anxious you’re focused on the future, neither of which you can control. When you are at peace you’re focused on the present, and the simplest way to connect with the present is through faith that everything will work out as it should. Today, I wish for you peace, through faith and the strength of your own loving heart.
